Before an audience of around 80 guests, including the advanced English classes, he recounted his journey from Afghanistan, where artistic freedom is virtually impossible. Today, he lives in Spain and is rebuilding his musical career there.
For Sajad, art is more than expression – it is hope and a connection between people and cultures. His goal is to continue creating music together with his producer, Saher, who is currently awaiting asylum in Iran, and to make the cultural diversity of Afghanistan audible.
An evening that demonstrated: Art can build bridges and change perspectives.
