Trainee event 2025: Visit to a mine

With the installation of a modern photovoltaic system, HEINZMANN is sending a strong signal for sustainability and future-oriented action. The project is another step towards an environmentally friendly and resource-conserving production process and underscores our commitment to a sustainable energy supply.

Within just two months – from September to October – the system was successfully installed and commissioned on the roofs of HEINZMANN’s headquarters. A total of 720 solar modules, 7,600 meters of cable, and 22 tons of materials were used. A large portion of the electricity generated is used directly in production, while surplus energy is fed into the public grid. This allows HEINZMANN to significantly reduce its external electricity consumption and actively contribute to lowering CO₂ emissions.

“With the new photovoltaic system, we are sending out a clear message for the future. Sustainability and technical innovation go hand in hand at HEINZMANN – we want to show that economic efficiency and environmental protection can work together in harmony.”

Markus Gromer, Managing Director

The new system is more than a technical project – it is an expression of our core values: competence, innovative strength, and engagement and unity. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of many partners and colleagues, the project was successfully completed within a short period of time.
The photovoltaic system stands as a prime example of HEINZMANN’s responsibility towards people and the environment. It highlights our aim to design production processes that are not only competitive but also sustainable – for a liveable future and a strong signal towards energy efficiency and climate protection.
